Dear Sir,

In speaking of her support for the legalisation of abortion up to birth
victorian Greens MLC Colleen Hartland has stated " These things should be out in the open
and people should not be judged."  Likewise, Labor's MLC Brian Tee believes the best way
to reduce the abortion toll  is to "take abortion out of the shadows and into the
mainstream where we can
measure, examine and understand its use." Surely the best way to take
abortion "out of the shadows", to bring it "out in the open"  would be
for an overhead screen to be erected during the course of the abortion
debate onto which can be projected images of aborted babies.
Parliamentarians would then know for what they were voting and their
constituents, instead of judging women for having abortions, would judge
them for approving this crime. All social engineering is preceded by
verbal engineering but a picture speaks a thousand words. In this
scenario it would save thousands of words trying to justify state
sanctioned killing and Government time that could better be spent
finding beds for the 400 Victorian children forced to wait for heart surgery instead of
more beds for more abortions.
