We would like to thank SSAA for hosting the National Junior Challenge 2008.

Once again Coober Pedy had three juniors representing South Australia. The journey to Adelaide took 12 hours by road. We checked in at Adelaide airport at 5am, arriving in Canberra at 8:45am. We picked up our hire vehicle then drove straight to the SSAA range. The first day was very exhausting and demanding for us all.

One of the highlights was the coaching clinic held over the three days. We would like to thank Alex, Darius and Doug for their expert and encouraging views on the various skills and disciplines.

To make it all possible we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to all our sponsors and supporters from Coober Pedy for the donations which made it possible for us juniors to compete and receive professional coaching in Canberra.

Next year we hope to get more juniors to come so they can experience what we have experienced this year.

The juniors would like to give a big thank you to John Di Donna for taking us all the way to Canberra and for making this trip possible.
